Pride in Pictures: Building community brick by LEGO brick

Don’t look now, but it’s Pride again.

For four years running now, we’ve asked our readers to share a memorable pic from their Pride celebrations, and you’ve responded with hundreds of scenes of joy, laughter, tears and rainbows… lots of rainbows 🌈🌈🌈. For Pride in Pictures 2023, the colors are just as bright and the laughter just as joyful.

Thanks to everyone who’s shared their Pride!

The story: I started Lego Pride five years ago, when I wasn’t well enough to go to any Prides, and over the years I’ve kept it going. It may have been the only Pride parade that happened during the pandemic!

Each year it’s grown slightly, so this year I tried a different layout (and learned a few things to improve for next time). In the current political climate, it was a struggle to do this year, but it gave me focus, and it lets others join in wherever they are.

A Pride celebration built with LEGO bricks features a parade around a town square.
